I wonder how they make those super long blowguns . . .
When you have hundreds of acres of pristeen forest to choose from and very large grass-like plants compete with very tall trees for sunlight, super shafts abound. they might be made from plants with a soft pithy center but judging by the length, I suspect it is more of a hardwood.

Have you ever fooled around with very small bore blowguns? As near as I can tell, the native blows have a very small bore, plus long narrow darts with a bit of fluff around the shaft to serve as a "cone." Also, I wonder what the verlocities are.
